July 6, 2007

We had an exciting Opening Day for our 2nd term campers.  The bridge on Hwy. 1340 was flooded so everyone met at the Hunt School, unloaded their luggage and Annette drove the campers over in the Hunt School bus.  It was great!  Later in the day larger vehicles were able to get over the bridge, but it was definitely a unique way to open the term.  Yesterday the girls registered for classes and today we had the first day of class.  We were supposed to have Opening Campfire tonight, but threatening skies and some thunder and lightening forced us to postpone the ceremony to Sunday.   We see lots of happy campers at Camp Honey Creek and we are all having fun!
