We have been very busy getting the observatory site prepared and ready for our big First Light Dedication Ceremony on May 17th.  Yesterday was a very exciting day as the dome was put back together with a huge crane and lots of help from some of our very special friends.  Check out the photos ~ it really is amazing.  Next weekend is our first Mother/Daughter weekend and it will be full.  We still have a few places available for the May 9th weekend, so if you want to join us, register soon.  Look below the pictures for updates and let us hear from you soon.

Register here for Mother Daughter Weekend ~ April 25-27 (CLOSED), May 2-4, (CLOSED) May 9-11

Sarah Schmitt had straight A's for the third nine weeks and made the Kennesaw Mountain Junior Cheerleading team. Way to go, Sarah!

Megan Harding is counting the days until camp and can't wait for the summer.

Craig and Carra Myers Milikien had a baby girl, Lorynn Mary Milikien, on April 2nd.  She was 8.4 lbs and 20 1/2 inches  long.  Mom and baby are doing great and her brothers, Carter and Sawyer, love her and want to touch her all the time.  Seems as if Lorynn already has Dad wrapped around her finger and her grandmother has already talked to her about Camp Honey Creek!  It's never too early for camp.

Mosettee Lorenz and Lauren Silver send us a cute note they had written together.  Lauren's softball team is doing well and hopes to go to nationals this summer.  Mosettee is planning on attending UT next year and ran into Allie Gossett at a recent visit to Austin.  Mosettee and Lauren can't wait to see all their camp buddies and we can't wait to see them.

Kelly Woodruff has had a great school year and is looking forward to camp this summer.  She made the honor roll and participated in volleyball and is currently playing softball.  She went to Virginia for spring break and had a great time.

Audrey Lewis will attend Texas State in the fall.  Audrey visited with Monica Cheavens on a visit to Houston and reports that Monica is doing great.  Betsy Lewis is finishing her junior year at SMU and will continue for two more years and will have a bachelors and masters in engineering when she graduates.

Katie Jackson will graduate from college in one month and she is ready.  When she graduates she will travel to Japan and teach English in the Japanese schools.  What a great opportunity, Katie!

Hannah Brierty is so excited about the Mother/Daughter weekend and can't wait to see everyone.  We can't wait either, Hannah.
