Wow – Closing Weekend was just about perfect. It seems like we did a good job dodging the rain that was all around us. Sorry the girls couldn’t go on their tribe hills but it was too muddy – someone would have fallen for sure. The Pawnees won this term 7476 to 7460. It is very quiet around here right now and it is raining again. The new second term counselors will arrive at noon and we will begin orientation with them and continue getting ready for Opening Day on Thursday. It’s hard to believe that first term is history – time marches on.
Thanks for sharing your daughter with us this summer. We hope you have found her a little more independent and confident and she is cleaning her room (well, maybe for a little while anyway). Camp teaches so many skills that they don’t even know they are learning. It’s a proven fact that camp girls adjust to college life much quicker because of the many skills they learned at camp! Camp girls are just better adjusted and hope that makes doing all that camp laundry a little easier. Thanks and we hope you signed up for 2019 – if you need an application card, just email and we will send it your way. Hugs to all.
