Good morning from The Creek. Monday we had a sleep-in followed by Water Day. Everyone stayed wet and cool all day and they loved it. We ended the day with a movie, “Despicable Me” and that was fun. Yesterday we had Happy Half Valentines Day and all the girls were wearing their pink t-shirts. Last night we gathered on the field and the girls found out their Secret Buddies. Today is the last Cabin Night and Cabin 12 will get dressed up and head to Bridget’s Basket in downtown Hunt for dinner. They are very excited. Tomorrow we will have the Jr Deb and Deb Archery tournaments and the Sub Debs will have a Gaga tournament. Things are busy, busy, busy.
I know you are all wondering about Closing weekend and we will be sending an email shortly. After two years we are excited to announce we will have limited family members at some of the Closing Events (Covid is still a concern for all of us). The Watershow is Friday morning at 10 and Jr Deb and Deb parents may come to that and watch from the other side of the Creek. The gates will open at 6:00 pm Friday evening and Serenades will begin at 7. Parents will leave when the girls go on their Tribe Hills at 8:00. Saturday the gates will open at 9:00, we will load your luggage and the Awards will begin around 10:00. We want to be finished early so it won’t be too hot. The awards won’t take too long so we hope you can be on the road around 11:00 or so. Yesterday we mailed an application card for 2023 so please bring that with your $300 deposit for next year when you come for Closing. We are happy to answer any questions, just email us.
This term is flying by and we are just trying to savor each day.
