In addition to our summer program, Summer Dreams, a 501(c)(3) organization, provides authentic camping experiences for children with special needs, as well as school and church groups, from September to May.
We offer meals, lodging in our six winterized cabins, a large recreation building (Coates Hall), team-building activities and science activities. We can also tailor our program to meet any group’s specific needs. One extremely unique aspect of our off-season program is an observatory complete with our 12-inch telescope, “Luther.” The night sky at Camp provides exceptional viewing opportunities, especially for children who have never seen a sky not polluted by city lights. The observatory’s computer allows Luther to track precise coordinates, allowing for brilliant sightings of constellations, planets, stars and galaxies.
